Steel Lake Little League


Players from outside the league are allowed to play Fall Ball if your own league does not offer your division in the Fall season.


Steel Lake Little League's boundary was developed off the Federal Way School District's elementary school boundaries of Meredith Hill, Camelot, Star Lake, Valhalla, Lake Dolloff, Wildwood, Star Lake, Lakeland and Rainier View. It encompasses the east side of Federal Way, including west Auburn and part of SW Kent. Any eligible player that resides within these boundaries or attends a school located within the boundaries, may register and play with Steel Lake Little League.

Any child who attends the following schools is eligible to register with Steel Lake Little League no matter where they live.

  • Christian Faith School
  • Evergreen Christian Private School
  • Holy Innocents School Of The Northwest
  • Kilo Middle School
  • Lake Dolloff Elementary School
  • Lakeland Elementary School
  • Meredith Hill Elementary School
  • Overcomer Academy
  • Rainier View Elementary School
  • Sequoyah Middle School
  • Star Lake Elementary School
  • St Nicholas Montessori School
  • TAF Academy
  • Technology Access Foundation Academy
  • Thomas Jefferson High School
  • Todd Beamer High School
  • Totem Middle School
  • Valhalla Elementary School
  • Wildwood Elementary School

To verify school enrollment, a parent will need an either an official certified school enrollment form, or the Little League school enrollment form (below). Either document must be completed by a School Administrator, Principal, or Vice Principal that lists the schools address as well as verification that the student has been enrolled and attending prior to October 1 of the current academic school year.

Beginning with the 2017 season, the following changes will be implemented for the Residency and School Attendance Eligibility Requirements:

• A school issued report card or performance record will no longer be accepted to establish school attendance. Either the school enrollment form or an official/certified school enrollment record dated prior to October 1, 2016 can be used to establish school attendance for the 2017 season.

• Also, residence shall be established and supported by documents containing the full residence which includes parent(s) or guardian(s) name, street address, city, state and zip code information, dated or in force between February 1, 2016 (previous year) and February 1, 2017 (current year), from one or more documents from EACH of the three Groups outlined below:

Group I

1. Driver's License (photo ID of parent(s) or guardian(s) with qualifying residence address)
2. School records (home address of player's parents or guardians)
3. Vehicle records (i.e., registration, lease, etc.)
4. Employment records
5. Insurance documents (with residence address)

Group II

1. Welfare/child care records
2. Federal records (i.e., Federal Tax, Social Security, etc.)
3. State records
4. Local (municipal) records
5. Support payment records
6. Homeowner or tenant records
7. Military records

Group III

1. Voter's Registration
2. Utility bills (i.e., - gas, electric, water/sewer, phone, mobile phone, heating, waste disposal)
3. Financial records (loan, credit, investments, etc.)
4. Medical records
5. Internet, cable, or satellite television records
